Who should attend the Marriage Retreat?

All married couples who are a part of Trinity Christian Centre. You do not need to be attending any Connect Group to be eligible to sign up for this Retreat.

If you have children ages 4 to 9 years as at Dec 31, 2025, you can sign them up for the in-retreat children’s program. Children can look forward to fun and engaging sessions learning God’s Word together.

What if I have children of other ages:

IGNYTE Camp and DiscoveryLand P4-P6 (as of 2026) stay-in Camp are happening concurrently.

DiscoveryLand Camp P1-P3 (as of 2026) will be after the marriage retreat from Dec 4 to 5.

Registration for the above-mentioned year-end camps are now open early for you to make arrangements for your children.

Unfortunately, for children under age 4 years, we do not have a program at the Marriage Retreat, nor will we be able to provide child-minding services.

How many couples will be there at this Marriage Retreat?

We have limited availability for up to 200 couples and 50 children only. Registration is on first come first served basis.

What language is the marriage retreat conducted in?

The retreat and in-retreat children’s program will be in English only

Will there be Free & Easy time?

Yes! You may enjoy a free & easy time on the first night (Dec 1). There is a shopping mall nearby and restaurants on the island.

The hotel restaurant is also available for you to have your meals at; 25% discount with minimum RP 300,000 spent per receipt.

How many people can I register at a time?

You can register as a couple by clicking “Couples Only”. Then register your child or up to three children by clicking “Children’s Program”.

How much will it cost me to attend this Marriage Retreat if I am bringing my children (ages 4-9) along?

Scenario 1: Not extending your trip

A husband and wife with one child (with bed) and one child (without bed) will cost: $650 + $200 + $100 = $950.

Scenario 2: Plans to extend your trip

A husband and wife with one child (with bed) and one child (without bed) will cost: $510 + $130 + $30 = $670.

Cost for separate purchase of two-way ferry and land transfer not included yet.

Can I select the type of rooms at the hotel?

No, rooming arrangements will be done by the hotel. Family rooms / apartments will be assigned to families, subject to availability.

What if I need other forms of help? Can I register other adults such as family members?

This registration is only for you as a couple and your children.

How will I know if registration has been successful?

A confirmation email will be sent to the Main Registrant upon successful registration. If it is not in your inbox, please check your spam inbox.

Please note that:

1. Your passport biodata page will be required at point of registration

2. Your registration will not be accepted for this marriage retreat if you are coming without your spouse.

3. Your child’s registration will not be accepted for the children’s program if you and your spouse are not attending the marriage retreat.

4. Online registration will close once we have 200 couples registered or at 11.59pm on July 31, whichever is earlier. Same goes for up to 50 children for the Children’s Program.

There’s a lot of personal data being collected at registration. Is my data safe?

As required under the Personal Data Protection Act, we will ensure that all reasonable security arrangements are in place to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal of your personal information.

I made an error at registration. What do I do?

Please email marriageretreat@trinity.sg with your registration ID and the changes needed.

I am experiencing some technical difficulties with registration. What can I do?

Can I book additional nights at the hotel before or after the retreat?

Yes! You may book additional nights at RP 950,000 a night (for 2 pax, inclusive of breakfast for two and taxes). You will have to settle any additional expenses incurred directly with the hotel.

When do I have to pay?

Payment in full is required at point of online registration to secure a place at the retreat.

What modes of payment are accepted?

Payment is only via credit card.

I’m not good with computers and don’t know how to do online payments. What can I do?

We encourage you to seek help from Connect Group members, friends, or family members for online registration.

I cannot attend the whole retreat, are there reduced rates?

You are encouraged to attend the entire retreat. There are no discounted / reduced rates for partial attendance.

If I have a last-minute emergency and cannot attend the retreat, can I receive a refund?

Unfortunately, no refunds will be given for cancellations.

What are the entry requirements for Batam?

• Valid ferry ticket

• Passport Your passport or travelling document must be valid at least six (6) months + 7 days after the date of entry.

• Visa (if relevant)

You are responsible to check if need a visa to enter Batam, and bear full cost of the visa(s). Please check if you can get visa on arrival or apply for an Indonesian Tourist Visa prior to the trip. Please check with the Indonesian embassy for more details.

These entry requirements apply to children of all ages.

How do I make my way to Aston Batam Hotel & Residences?

By ferry and land transport. This is included in the package provided by Trinity.

You should make your own transport arrangements and purchase for ferry and land transfers if:

1. You plan to travel earlier to Batam or extend your trip after the marriage retreat

2. You plan to purchase a one-way ticket

Do note the following when making the separate purchases:

• Registration begins at 11.30am on the first day of the retreat (Dec 1) and lunch starts at 12pm.

• Lunch is provided on the last day of the retreat (Dec 3) before you leave.

Is the retreat venue wheelchair friendly?

Yes, there are lifts and ramps within the premise. Please indicate on the registration form if you need wheelchair access.
